First Loves

My roots are in the fine arts, specifically printmaking and painting. My first loves you could say. Below is a small collection of pieces. As a sweet bonus there's also a video about a studio that I co-founded, GreyRoom Studios.

GreyRoom Studios

Soon after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, I co-founded an artist collaborative. We had working space for artists, a room for showings and art parties, and the crown jewel was a Takach combination etching lithograph printing press. The plan was to create a space not only for emerging artists to work, but to teach the public about the beautiful and process oriented art of printmaking. We wanted to host workshops and rent press time, allowing for press access that is hard to come by as an emerging printmaker.
