Workshops and speaking

Workshop facilitation

I see workshop facilitation as a way to help others visualize holistic pictures, but more importantly to feel invested and get a diverse range of contribution to any project.

A few workshops that I’ve run lately:

  • Requirements workshops

  • Persona creation workshops

  • Card sorting exercises

  • Experience mapping exercises

  • Brand and elevator pitch workshopping

My favorite things:

  • Post-its (of the best color variety)

  • Pens (lots of them, preferably Muji)

  • Snacks! (the good kind)

  • The right people (to solve the problem)

  • A time timer (see homepage)

Sometimes I talk about it

Knowledge is best when it's passed around and I thrive when I’m working to raise the level of design intelligence with a group of people, especially UX design. Whether it’s reporting on a product wrap-up or speaking at retreats and conferences, I love talking about the work I do.
